It is with a heart full of gratitude that I announce on March 23, 2024 I will be attempting a perimeter run around the island of Guam to become the first woman, and second documented person to do so. Accompanied by my trusty running bestie Jon Krist, we will complete a figure 8 around the island totaling to 100 miles- formally known as the Mariana’s 100.

I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to partake in a run to further the efforts of Dillon Quitugua in empowering Pacific Islanders to do hard things and to honor his late father. I am clinging to my Samoan roots to get to know the island of Guam and the Chamorro people. It is my goal for the race to not only embrace more of who I am as a Pacific Islander and a woman, but to also bring awareness to the struggle of mental health that exists heavily within island communities. Suicide is the 8th leading cause of death on the island of Guam - and it is that staggering statement that will fuel the 100 miles in hopes that pacific communities have the awareness and assistance needed to overcome mental health challenges.

We will be raising money for Bigger Than The Trail and the Tribe Collective, hand in hand, to tackle this run.

We welcome you to follow our training journey and cannot wait to share this experience with you!
